I don't think $120 mil will be able to cover a whole lot...certainly not a Simpsons ride AND Harry Potter land PLUS other stuff.
In all likelihood, the BTTF overlay will be another simulator. I seriously doubt it will cost as much as you seem to think. That leaves a lot of dough for their IOA plans.

I thought the simpson's deal was already done and paid for as far as licensing fees go. and if mummy only cost 40 million to do, then 120 would go a long way assuming you don't have to start from the ground up.

BTTF needs some work though, they really need to get better simulators in there, those things are really jerky and I would hope they take this rehab as a chance to convert the projectors to digital. That said, turning the Deloreans into blue station wagons shouldn't be too hard.

You'll only get one or the other or the other.

The only other thing I can think of is taht right now there allocating $120 mil but they plan to add more money soon for other upcoming attractions.

They should build attractions around charecters from Halo and Hellboy. But I think they lost the rights to the movie adaption of HALO.
It would be nice to see a major new ride IOA, but I am not holding out any more after so long. The Simpsons ride would be nice welcome to Universal.

My guess is that at least 60 million of it goes to the BTTF overlay. There's a lot of work that's going to need to be done to that building to make it not look like BTTF. I think we'll get a new attraction in IOA as well, at least I hope so, but I don't think it's going to be the JP Jeep ride although I would love it if it was.

I'd be happy with a decent BTTF replacement, spruce up of all attractions at USF & IOA and spend the rest of the cash to get the Triceratop Encounter open in Jurassic Park again - loved that, and JP needs more...

    $120,000,000 Dollars??

Did you hear that Disney? Universal is trying to out spend you on new attractions. Are you going to let them get away with that? Heck no I say, you had better budget $220,000,000 just to show those upstarts who's the real boss!

Although I would love that, Disney wouldnt be scared if universal announced $500 million going to new rides. I really wish that this will cause Universals attendance to go up and Disneys to go down so we can get some scared Disney execs to give us a new lineup of e-tickets.

I think you're confused. USO is closing BTTF, USH is keeping it.

Could this mean that Islands of Adventure will finally get it's Jurassic Park EMV-type jeep thrill ride
I suspect if more cash comes in that whole area could be BTTF'ed except for the water ride. Jurassic Park is deprecated by film industry standards. Most remember it as a "I Love the '90s" style retro symbol.
