Darkbeer, where do you find things like this?

As a side comment I find it depressing to look at the photos of an empty deserted amusement park. It would be a cool thing to own but you know I seem to have misplaced my wallet. Does anyone have a spare 1.65 million?

In Jon Lovitz voice: Yeah, that's the ticket. I can see it now. We could have Pirates of the Mississippi River with AAs of Pirate Tui chasing Sunnygirl and Jennidisneyfer.

There has gotta be a catch. I know 1.7 million seems like a lot of money but I can't see all that going for that little unless there is a catch

I was thinking the same thing!, although they say Joyland Amusement Park can hold 10k. That's about 9,967 more people than you would see at California Adventures.
The park looks like it could be turned into the park that was in the movie Something Wicked This Way Comes. Wouldn't it be neat to refurbish it to it's glory days and use it to train potential "Cast members" to go on to any of the Disney Parks? Think about it. They could experiment on recipes, protocol, etc. without the expense of "hurting" the main parks. It could also be used for period Movies/TV Series/Commercials.

Let's pool our money together, at Micechat, and buy a bunch of tickets from the California Lottery (I think it is above 10mil now). We could all own a piece of American History!

I was just thinking, why don't we at Micechat start "independently" start buying up the land around the Joyland Amusemant Park and then when the time is right, pool it altogether like Disney did in Orlando many years ago.
