    Blue Man Group

Anyone looking forward to this show in Universal Orlando. I heard rumors that it is replacing Nick Studios in USH. It seems to be a Cirque De Solei type of thing where you pay extra to see it...hmmm.

strange that they are replacing a free attraction with one that charges admission in addition to theme park admission but I can understand if it is something special.

Another thing I noticed is that Animal Planet Live! is now just a Animal show with no sponsor. This is interesting because I was thinking Disney could step in to snatch up the theme park rights to Discovery properties to use in EPCOT and Animal Kingdom. That would be a very cool development. Mythbusters kicking Drew out in MGM. Animal Kingdom opening up it's own Meercat Manor.

Nickelodeon Studios closed because they moved all their production to California and didn't renew their deal. It wasn't Universal's idea. Now that area has been annexed by CityWalk, so it isn't considered a park attraction.

Looking to go back to Orlando later this year or early next year so I'll probably catch them. Screamscape has pictures of the completed lobby and in-progress auditorium.

I love Blue Man Group - if their production there is as good as the one in Vegas, yeah, I'd pay to go see them.

Will trade husband for Disneyland and DCA Pins!

will be going to what was supposed to be the first show open to the public. {they later added a show besides the official opening show the night before.} figment saw them in NYC . The head blueman came from their las vegas show. Figment has had a chance to meet him several times because he is the brother of figment's former band director. If you have a chance to make a show, it's really worth the price!!!

I really can't wait to see this show. I saw them the night they were filming the promo spot at Universal Studios. I've never seen one of their shows live but I'm greatly fascinated with what they do. I'm really looking forward to this. Anyone know if AP holders are getting some kind of discount? I really want to go to this show regardless of the discount.

Yes, BMG has taken over the old Nick Studios and that is now part of Citywalk, not USF. It's similar in concept to cirque in that it's just another added paying attraction that guests can take in. So now instead of just staying on property for 2 days they may have a reason to add another day. 1 day for each park and one day for lounging, shopping at citywalk, and then BMG.

yep it wasn't their idea for Nick to move out but I bet it was their idea to reannex a piece of the park.

Ah well spilt milk... and yes I want cheese with my whine!

If the show is similar to the production values in the Las Vegas show and the touring groups I can see the increase in cost and the need for tickets. It fits my personality more than the Cirque so I think we'll check it out when it opens. Thanks guys for the input.
