    Any SFMM AP's here?

Well my DL AP expired about 1.5 years ago, and I have not been able to afford a new one. I went cheap, and got a SFMM AP. Anyone here have one? Anyone interested in a SFMM meet?

Both Lisa and I have Xtreme Season Passes to Six Flags.

ACE (Coaster Club) is having an event on Saturday May 12th.

So we will both be there, we could do something around Noon, or 3 PM (we have a lunch scheduled inbetween.

Anybody interested on meeting up that day?

I've had SFMM passes for about the past 25 years. But not this year. Just kind of burned out on the place. We'll probably be back next year though.

Sounds great! It would be nice to meet you. Ever since my DLAP ran out, your photo's have been the only thing keeping me from going into a withdrawal coma.

One thing im not liking though is the 15$ parking. Im on a motorcycle! We dont take up any room! Ugh. At least at Knotts, they let us park for free. Im not sure about DL since I got the bike after my AP expired.

So. A question. What do they call SF employees? Im sure they dont use the same Disney term of "Cast members". Just wondering.

Speaking of those events, why would you pay $25 to go to that on top of the membership fee if you already have a season pass? You could pretty much go to Six Flags anytime and ride those rides, and if you don't want to wait just go on a weekday. Just doesn't seem worth it to me. I did ERT once at a Winter Coaster Solstice years ago and I thought it was a pretty lame event.

Why, you get a nice meal, and then you get 2 hours of ERT including "X".

When you think that they sell Flash Passes for $20 ($15 during the week) and they aren't even good on "X", it makes it a great deal.

Also a chance to get together with other members and say hello.....

I finally took them up on their offer. I just go my PlayPass and not get the year free. It'll be exciting to go their more often, and paying $59.99 for my play pass is much more fun then the $349 I'l will have to fork over for my Disneyland Annual Pass renewal.

I really don't think Flashpass is necessary. I was there this last week and there were no lines other than a 10 minute wait for Tatsu.

I can't wait to go again on the 5th! I love roller coasters!

I went there last monday. I got there at 10:30 opening and ALL the coasters where walk-on. INCLUDING X and Tatsu!!! I went on all the coasters but Goilath and De-ja-vu. It was great, but I was going solo. Sort of took a lot of the fun out of it! Fun is always more enjoyable with company

Sadly, I have a lot planned on the 5th. I have a big 300+ mile motorcycle ride with friends.

    Re: Any SFMM AP's here?

I haven't been a passholder there since the early 90s. I was getting them regularly for many years (at only like $35!) but SFMM lost what little "Magic" was part of it's name. Now, I'm content going every 2-3 years just to catch up, and mostly to reminisce about the past. X is too rough for me, and some of my favorites (Rev, Colossus, Ninja) have either been slowed down or cars altered to become more painful and less fun. I'm very glad it was saved (for now) from the encroaching homebuilding, but I just can't see having a regular pass anymore.

On the other hand, I think I have to get one for Knott's soon. How you can you resist a pass that's good not only there, but at Great America up north, as well as the classic Cedar Fair parks in Ohio? That's what I call a bargain
