I'm just curious. Does anyone else think the Revenge of the Mummy ride at USH is as boring as I do. We have a years pass for the park and I have tried the ride over and over again. Every time we get off we always say "nope, still not fun".

I enjoy Mummy, and ride it multiple times every time I go to USH......
46" or 48" for the hight requirment?
Here are the height requirments for USH
Revenge Of The Mummy - The Ride Must be at least 48 inches tall
Back to the Future…The Ride Must be at least 40 inches tall
Jurassic Park - The Ride Must be at least 46 inches tall
Here is a link to some reviews of Mummy, interesting read, some folks love it, and some don't...

By today's standards, it might be considered boring. But I enjoy the coaster portion of it, cruising around in the dark like a mini-Space Mountain.
My beef is the lack of "WOW" factor missing that the Florida version supposibly does have. I realize with a smaller building they were limited to how much they could do, but really, it obvious this was just throw in to have a coaster at the park. Universal can and has done so much better that this, if they didn't have the budget to do it right, they probably should have waited for a bigger budget to do it correctly or put something else more impressive. Needless to say I and most people were pretty disappointed with the overall ride/show experience, but hey, at least USH now has a coaster.
it was a total disapointment well I guess I was expecting to much from universal. but I find that Ride very borring. And I dont think it has ever completly worked on the 5 times I have ridden it.
The coaster portion is far too short and eventless. It doesn't need loops or anything, but at least something moderately thrilling.
I have not been on the one in Hollywood park ... but I DID go on the one in FL. The first time was awesome ... the second time sucked! I wish I would have only gone on it once, once you know the surprise .. it is not as fun anymore!
I for one cannot understand all this kerfuffle over Hollywood's version. I was absolutely blown away when I went on Florida's version - I was petrified (but then again I get scared at the Haunted Mansion every time). Can someone tell me what Hollywood is missing that Florida isn't, so I can just get an idea?
That ride is so awful... They should have saved the money and added some cool stuff for the tram (the only reason wroth going to USH). Honestly, how can you pass of a ride in the dark with flashing pictures as something special? At least the old Space Mountain looked like it was really in space.... I hate that frickin' ride...
I have been on Florida's twice and it was great both times. My favorite effect was the flames moving across the ceiling. Feeling the heat from them is quite exhilarating. The roller coaster itself is pretty short, though.
I heard that flame effect was cool... not in USH's version....
I had never ridden this until last November. It was great. The darkness was a nice change!! It Seemed to short though!! I didn't want it to stop!!! :)Quote:
