the metal barricades were the one thing i really really REALLY detested last year. we went on the 2nd night of HHN, and they were all over the place during the terror tram walk thru. Ohhh, look at the scary zombie...on the other side of a big metal barricade where he couldnt' possibly cause ME any harm....

blech, i sure hope they remedy that this year in some other form

aside from having the metal barricades, one of the biggest problems with Terror Tram was that walking thru War of the Worlds set was heavily packed. Ppl were walking really close to each other and ppl could of gotten hurt by some person running away from a monster. Since these ppl who were to run they would just push ppl aside and continue running.

i think USH should think of a better way to make Terror Tram less crowded, easy to walk thru, and more scary. or else scrap the whole idea out.

Does VIP tickets get people past the lines during the Horror Nights?

by having VIP tickets for HHN, it allows you to go to the Houses (mazes) only once without waiting in line and also VIP seating for their shows.

Thanks for the info. I have a friend high up at USH and he gets us these uber VIP passes that get us in front of the people that buy the VIP tickets. Also, how is the USH Horror Nights differant from the Knotts Scarry Farm timing? Is it all day, or do they close the park and re-open it for the night? Also, what time does the park close?

USH closes and then reopens (i believe last year it was at 7pm) just like Knotts does for Halloween Haunt.

last year the hours were pretty lousy, 7pm to midnight, which wasn't all that great when some of hte maze lines were 1hour + in length

cause i know orlandos been doing it for almost 17 years :0)
I am planning that trip in the next 2 years to go to orlando :0)
    yay!
HHN goes more for the make up and all the props and show elements while Knotts focus' more on the scares aswell as make up and themeing. I like Knotts alot more

And Knott's has been doing this for 35 years so

    lol

USH posted notices for scareactors and performer auditions for "Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure". I think this is a definate yes the show is back and in Castle Theater with Fear Factor: LIVE Dead Celebrity, well, DEAD. Maybe in the show's opening they'll make fun of their location and being gone for all these years... like what they did last year at Flordia when the show returned to the Wild West Arean, er, I mean, Fear Factor: LIVE...

I didn't feel like making a new thread for my newly uploaded but much delayed video of HHN 2006 at USH. Just a general overview of the park entrance, atmosphere, and attraction signages. ENjoy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ACcXEfo5HEg

Well, I only count three, as Van Helsing house getting revamped doesn't exactly count to me.

The Van Helsing house wasn't even revamped. They just threw random Monsters into a castle etc.

Thumbs down Re: Hollywood Universal Halloween Horror NIghts 2007 Dates Anounced

damn USH should definitely stop advertising their stupid so-called slogan, "With more mazes than ever before." its been misleading and false advertisement. they keep saying with 4 new mazes including Freddy, Jason, Leatherface and Terror Tram. I doubt that the four houses or mazes includes Terror Tram as a house for a total of 5. even w/ terror tram as a house, it still does not make it "with more mazes than ever before"
