Sam did Sea world and Six Flags in San Antonio (photo Heavy)

    Yes thats right I did....

Earlier this year in march I went to Texas and I went to Sea World and the Six flags Fiesta Texas. This was my first trip to Texas so it was fun.... I also did sight seeing so I will post about that as well. This may take awhile so just give me time. I also made the pictures smaller then some because I know a few people have slower computers so this way it will load fast for everyone!

    So we begin.

The whole trip there what can I say? It was cloudy and hot and humid the whole time. That was the weather. For me being born and raised in California it was a big change for me. So the first park we went to on the 5 day trip was Sea World.

The think I found funny was it was no where near the sea. Strange yes but the park was big.

I really liked the entrance. It was a nice view.

    Now on to Believe.

I will give you might thoughts on the show. This is the Shamu show and I thought it was good but when I watched it I started having flash backs.... no not flashback but flash backs to the disneyland firework show Believe. All through out this show there was a ladies voice that would randomly say Believe! Over all it was a great show I like seeing big whales. I am easy to amuse.

    Jump Jump!

    Something is in the water!

    More Whales

    OMG is it dead?

    Of course not!

well more pics of the show will be coming up plus a lot more! Stay Tuned....

    Ok on with the show!

    Hmmmmm what are they doing?

    Oh no watch out!!

these are the moments in life I thank god for making me sorta smart.... those people got soaked.

Yes on all sides they got soaked

Now I went to the sea world in california about 2 years ago but I had not seen a Shamu show in a looong time so this show to me I was just in awe....

They had those whales trained like little performing monkeys and the whole show was scored and somehow the whales hit all of the right marks when the music did stuff... to me it was a sight to see and it was pretty cool!

Still more Sea world and other fun things to come stay tuned!

I love Sea World, but thought Believe was so cheesy. The whale performance was great, but trying to do a story and the presentation of the whale tail, etc. Whatever.

Great pictures though! Looks like a really nice stadium.

Will trade husband for Disneyland and DCA Pins!

I think the Stadium is a lot better then it just being out doors they were able to do all kinds of lighting stuff during the day they could just not do in the open! Plus it shields you from the rays which is a plus!

Awesome Sam! Sea World San Antonio is a beautiful park.

Looking forward to your pics from SFFT. I worked there for two seasons in '95 and '96. Interesting because my first year there was its last under its original operation/owenership of Gaylord Entertainment/USAA and the second its first as a Six Flags.

The differences were apparent almost immediately.

Fiesta, Texas (the town built just for fun!) was a great little gem of a park. Eager to see what it looks like now as I haven't seen it in ten years.

Thanks for the pictures. I was a bit surprised to see the cover over Shamu Stadium since Orlando and San Diego are both open.

Looking forward to seeing the rest of the pictures.

Re: Sam did Sea world and Six Flags in San Antonio (photo Heavy)

    well moving on!

    What is this?

yes its a coaster! This update is focusing on the rides at Sea world!

This coaster reminded me of Batman at six flags here in california but, it was a lot shorter! It was pretty fun.

    Next up is:

It was a fun little log flume ride! There was also a rapids ride but I did not get a picture of it for I did not go on it!

Next was a horrible 3-d show that I think is in sea world california. Its a Pirates show staring Leslie Nelson as the "bad guy" it was really bad!

yes it is a 4-d show and I was disgusted. By the end of it everyone in the theater was soaked! I was dripping they shoot water cannons at you many times during the show and you get it bad. Thats 4-d to them!

Next up is the last ride:

This was another coaster and I loved this because I love drops!

the only problem I had with the ride was the lift hill was very uneven it was loud clunky and would slow down then speed up it was strange! Over all it was fun I went on it like 5 times!

well that is the ride update the next update I will be done with Sea world and I will be on to Six flags! Stay tuned!!!

Re: Sam did Sea world and Six Flags in San Antonio (photo Heavy)

So I am going to finish the rest of the Sea world pictures! I am going to do this pretty straight forward!

    Yay horses!

    How cute!

I will post a few pics I took in the coral reef!

Yes those are fish they were moving that explains the blur....

These next two pics are the same pretty much but I like them both, looks like nemo!

Penguins in texas in the snow.... strange sight to see

    very cool stuff overall!

So I ended my day here!

Now I am not the biggest fan of Beer but when it is free it is so much better! My thoughts on the park was it was nice but I was able to see everything in just a few hours. It was a big park and if you love looking at animals then you will love the park. There are also a few rides to take up your time! In the end it is nice and I would say if you like Sea world in california you will love this park!
