Timber Mountain Log Ride... whats the deal?

Is that ride still closed or not?

I know it was closed for quite some time... but never heard if it reopened or not... does anyone know whats going on with it?

It is still closed, and DOSH is in control. They are asking for a lot of upgrades before they approve reopening it, after part of the ceiling fell on a couple of guests (minor injuries).

But Knott's is advertising that the TImber Mountain Log Ride will be part of Haunt, with a new maze "Pyromaniax". It is one of 5 new mazes/re-themed rides. The Calico Mine Ride is also getting a new theme.

Exactly what Darkbeer said, but Cavern of Lost Souls last year in the mine ride had more miners then anything else. That's probably with the name change.

That doesn't answer your question at all. It will be open late September probably.
