    SFMM "X" new colors

The new colors for "X" are going on. I took several pictures, but I don't know how to post them. Can anyone help?

The entire track is being re-painted red and most of the yellow columns are being painted a very dark grey (almost black).

Ya gotta upload them to an account on another site, such as Photobucket, then clip and paste the code (there's 4 codes, on Photobucket it's the second code out of the 4 codes they give you) into the "photo" icon when you are posting a comment.

This shot just kind of shows how faded Goliath is. Is it that hard to paint a coaster when it is closed for most of the week during the off season.

Thanks for the pics. It definately looks better than the old colors.

Good thing they repainted Viper or it would look REALLY bad next to X.

How old is Goliath? There is NO excuse for it to be looking like that. Then again, with X being down this off-season I don't know if they could have had both closed on the weekends.

Hopefully Goliath will get some attention soon.

Great pics! Goliath opened in early 2000. I believe it was marketed as the first coaster to open in the new millennium. I think it to be one truly beautiful coaster. One of my favorites.

When your Six Flags, any preventive maintenance or cosmetic enhancement is a difficult thing to accomplish. Or so history has shown...

I really like the new look for X though, always thought those purple and yellow colors looked nasty! The new ones make it look sleek!

The new colors look great. Much more forebooding and overall much more appropriate than the yellow and pink/purple.
