    Sesame Street comes to SeaWorld

I received this chocolate chip-filled cookie jar yesterday to promote their upcoming new attractions featuring Sesame Street:

    Sounds very cool.

It sounds like a different movie than the one at Universal Japan:

We have Sesame Place (a theme park near Philadelphia) here and I love it. Those characters are lots of fun.

If they bring this Orlando, I'd consider making my first trip to Sea World in maybe 25 years. I love Cookie Monster!

If the rumors are to be believed, we'll be getting it at Busch Gardens eventually.

Re: Sesame Street comes to SeaWorld

I thought I had heard that they were bringing some kind of Sesame Street show to Sea World in Orlando or was I mixing things up again?

I'm really hoping to take my son to sea world in about a year. I figure he'll enjoy the leisurely pace of Sea World before he'll be able to enjoy the pace of Universal or Disney.

SeaWorld got a Sesame Street show over at Bay Side Stadium "Elmo and the Bookenears"

Very cute show, but that stadium is HUGE and so it never fills up.

    YAY SeaWorld!

I'm really surprised it's taken Busch this long to bring the Sesame Street characters to its other parks.

I love Sesame Place too! I'm only about 20 minutes from the park so we used to go every summer. I haven't been there in years though.

The 4D movie will be in the Mission Bay Theatre (where they had "Haunted LightHouse). It looks like they are proceding with the area as they have removed all the water attractions in the kids area. My teenage daughters are poo-pooing it but it should be a nice change. You can see it if you go on the Sky Tower. They are also doing something by the Sea Otter and Sea lion stadium. We went on MLK day and had a good time though it rained in the morning and got nice and wet in the BELIEVE show - UGH (We are Gold passport holders - since 1997).

Busch should go ahead and add a whole Sesame Street land to Seaworld Orlando. It could reveal Disney and Universal for characters to see. One funny thing through, All of the characters are Muppets but Disney owns the rights to the term Muppet. lol. I hopefully if they do this, Disney will fire back with Muppet Studios at Hollywood Studios.

Haunted Lighthouse is gone, as is the old projection system. 2 new digital projectors are going in along with a digital projection system. Shamu's Happy Harbour is being replaced by the Bay of Play, themed to Sesame Street. Eventually it will have new rides for kids. A Sesame-themed show featuring Big Bird, Elmo, Bert, Ernie, and Jamie is going into Pets Rule stadium running in repertory with the Pets Rule show. IgNight is making a return as a night-time summer show at Dolphin Stadium, along with a new night-time Pets Rule show. Cirque de la Mer is returning this year with some new talent from China. Shamu Rocks and Riptide both make returns this summer as well!
Amnesia used to be my favourite word, but I forgot it.
