Hey, tell me why the Metro isn't coming back? I hear Six Flags in Georgia has the same monorail system from the same maker (actually a few years older the MMs Metro) and they manage to keep it running. It can't possibly cost more to fix it than put a new one in, unless they re-use the track.
Six Flags has rides made from scratch, I think they could coble together the extra parts needed to get the Metro running again. I bet it would cost a lot less than the "Thomas" expansion that will get old and stale in about 20 minutes. My 2 cents for the day.

Spinout is indeed closing.
I think it was explained earlier, but basically the manufacturer of the Metro is no longer in business. Which means the parts are no longer being made in order to fix/maintain the ride.
Is GA's still running? I didn't see it running when we were in GA a couple of years back.
