    Cool Simpsons Ride Video

There was a previous post about the Simpson's ride and how people are thinking it's a contender for Toy Story Mania. Sadly the video on YouTube that was included was removed shortly after by You Tube. I found another site that has the same video, the link has been provided below Enjoy.

(I can't wait to ride it.)

Thanks for sharing! I was nauseous just watching that video, so I know that is the closest I'll be to experiencing the real ride!

I always appreciate how much of Universal Studio's time is used to make fun of Disneyland, it looks great!

Great. Before you know it, some self-righteous Universal APer will say "videotaping attractions is so wrong, why can't people just learn to spend money they don't have and ride it themselves?" and turn the video over to the company, where it will be exterminated. Seriously, OVER half of Universal fansites think this way, and it's truly sickening to see how spoiled they are. They can't even imagine that there are people who, shocker, can't make it to Orlando and want to see the ride. I'm sure if they had the money and the time they would, but, alas...

    ...sorry, just had to rant...

Well, that video just got me interested in going to Universal, the first time since they tore out ET.

and all the poking of fun of so many different theme park attractions, did you catch:

    Spoiler
Pirates of the Caribbean, WaterWorld stunt show, Shamu show,

I'll have to wait watching it again, until I see it in person!

Yea it's like Star Tours and Soaring over California combined together. Huge Imax screen with the ride vehicles in side facing and moving with the big screen. About four vehicles I believe, looking at the same screen.

^I believe it's 12 cars...four on top, three in the middle and five on the bottom. Though I could be off by a car or two.

As for the ride itself...Wow, watching the videos I have to say I want to go on it even more. Not only that but from what you could see, them doing the main film in CGI was a smart idea due to the sheer insanity it would be to be done in 2D.

I certainly spotted a lot of funny spoofs and gags (The Universal sign really cracked me up, along with a one liner dealing with where rides end.)

I'd say just by looking at the film, I know I'm going to be happy with this when I finally ride it.

I'm not crazy, now if you will excuse me I have tea time with the ghosts at Haunted Mansion.

Believe it or not, theme parks are a for-profit business and by posting attraction videos online, people are committing copyright infringement. It isn't as simple as them refusing to provide this content to people who can't make it to the park just to be meanies.

My only issue was the screamers in the front row....but otherwise, looks good! Yeah, I noticed all the small digs at the other parks. Very cool.

Disney, for some bizarre reason, seems to be the only ones who understand that you cannot truly pirate a ride. In other words, while it's copyright infringement, it's not hurting the company whatsoever. Have you ever heard anyone refuse to go to Disneyland because they can view it online? No, of course not. What's sickening is that these fansites are filled to the brim with APers who honestly can not picture why anyone would want to watch a ride video. They really are that spoiled, and it's amazing how far their ethnocentrism goes...

Great find! This thing is going to be jam packed with a variety of simulated theme park rides. Can't wait to experience the motion simulator along with the ride film! Looks like Homer takes a beating - as can be expected. LOL!

I agree, I highly doubt a video of an attraction would cause somebody to not go to visit a theme park. After seeing this video I want to go ride this attraction even more now that I know it is good!

HOWEVER! This ride has not opened yet, so I can see what motivation Universal would have to remove the video in the first place.

In a few years I wont need to go to Disneyland because Datameister's 3D Disneyland will be nearly complete by then
