Great news from China. Hua Mei, who was born after invetro fertilization at the San Diego Zoo, has given birth to twins. Both cubs are healthy. Here is a link to the story:

Hua Mei - the first giant panda born in America surprises everyone with twins!

Hua Mei, the first-ever giant panda cub to be born in the US and survive has given birth to twins; the cubs were born at 7:45 PM and 8:22 PM. . The twins were born at the China Conservation and Research Center for the Giant Panda (CCRCGP), Wolong Nature Reserve, where GLOBIO has been working for the past three years.
