I have gone to the event from the inception and I can tell you it's a pretty amazing time. The Cartoon Art Museum of San Francisco is having two different fund raisers at PIXAR animation studios in Emeryville CA. There will be two events on the day of October 11: A) A family event where there are lots of activities and chances to meet the staff. The press release does not included this info, but you can call the museum to find out more. I will post the official press release for it when I get it. B) An evening event aimed more at adults (but some kids come too) with yummy appetizers, art show, a chance to buy studio merchandises and a presentation in the theater. note: the events do not include the animation work areas for security issues. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For Immediate Release: August 27, 2008 Contact: Summerlea Kashar, 415-227-8666 ext. 300 Cartoon Art Museum To Host Fifth Annual Benefit At Pixar Animation Studios Saturday, October 11, 2008, 5:00 PM Tickets: $200, ($150 - CAM Members) Reserved Row for Ten: $2,000 The Cartoon Art Museum, the only museum in the western United States dedicated to all forms of cartoons and comics, is delighted to host its fifth annual benefit at Pixar Animation Studios on Saturday, October 11, 2008.
