Chat Hercules Electrical Parade

I just watched a video of the Hercules Electrical Parade which rolled through New York City once in promotion for Hercules. Basically it was the classic Main Street Electrical Parade with a few differences.

Firstly, there was a different opening float instead of the train, that being a sort chariot & temple with all the good Hercules characters on it. Following that was a second new float, a giant Hades. After that pretty much all of the classic MSEP floats rolled by, excluding the train. The Snow White Dwarf mine was in there, as was a un-lighted Pinocchio section. Mickey & Minnie were on top of the To Honor America float.

Now in case your wondering if this has a point, it does. Whatever happened to those 2 Hercules floats? If they're still around, wouldn't that be a good addition to the parade? It sure did have a great soundtrack!

I thought the opening float was the blue fairy. Though my mind could be playing tricks. It's been about a year since I last saw it.

Well yeah, it's the blue fairy then the train. But there was a new "logo float" of sorts was replaced with a Hercules one. The blue fairy was simply pushed back behind the Hercules floats.

Because it's Disneyland's Main Street Electrical Parade that went to New York.

This was for the Hercules movie premiere, and really nothing to do with DL.

DL had a separate Hercules Parade, and Yesterland is the section for that.

according to a Parades CM the Herc floats were destroyed after the premiere
