Santa Barbara Help

I'm taking my wife to Santa Barbara for our 10 year anniversary and I was wondering if anyone knew of a great, romantic restaurant for dinner. Price isn't an issue, but I want something relatively quiet, not crazy like a lot of the Restaurant/bars on State Street.

Thanks for any suggestions you guys can give me.

Re: Santa Barbara Help

You might try The StoneHouse it is Montecito, which isn't Santa Barbara proper, but right nest door.

Good luck finding just the right thing, and Happy Anniversary.

I'm not too familiar with the restaurants, but make sure you read the Santa Barbara News-Press (but only the entertainment section . I write theatre reviews for them.

Remi the superhero/artist beaver was so inspired by his visit to Disneyland that he sculpted a likeness of his head out of the petrified tree in Frontierland. Of course, immediately after this picture was taken, he used his powers to restore it to its natural state .

Re: Santa Barbara Help

absolutely no question about it.. one of the most romantic inns (and incredible food) on the west coast... the san ysidro ranch... five minutes outside santa barbara... expensive? yes. worth it? you bet.

A quick 15 minute drive south to Carpinteria (my home away from home) and you have Clementines. It's a very small, intimate restaurant with great food.

I got you covered LOL. I love this place. http://www.coldspringtavern.com/
It's about 15 min from Santa Barbara, up in the mountains. It is so cool. Very small and romantic.

Awwww!!! I love Clementines!

We go beach camping at Carpinteria State Beach every summer and we always make it a point to go there!

The Palms in Carpinteria is a fabulous restaurant as well but not so much the quiet romantic setting you are looking for. Fabulous food though!!!!
