The Clinkerbelle's get a new camera, and go for a nature walk
Monday we got our new camera (Kodak Z1015 IS). We then had to go for a nature walk at our neighborhood Barranca for a class project for the boy. What better place to try out the camera???
 The entrance to the Barranca (there are houses on either side of this        Under the bridge      Under the bridge again   I'm looking forward to trying out the new camera at Disneyland this weekend to make sure we want to keep it. But so far, so good.

Beautiful pictures!
You mention you went to a barranca. Just what is a barranca? Because there is a Barranca Pkwy in Irvine and I've always wondered what that meant. I know that Jeffrey Rd and Culver Rd are named after two of James Irvine's ranch hands, but Barranca doesn't sound like it's a person's name in this case. |

Beautiful pictures, but I, too, am curious as to what a barranca is.

Barranca: 1.a steep-walled ravine or gorge. 2.a gully with steep sides; arroyo. Or, from my dictionary: A place about a 5 minute walk from my house that is like nature, surrounded by houses.
