Universal Studios

Hey, quick question...

Now that "Desperate Housewives" is a series and they film the show in the backlot, does the Studio Tour still include the earthquake soundstage? When I went last March they were filming the pilot and the studio tour didn't get to the earthquake because of it...

You can still experience earthquake and the tour. The Housewives set is over where the Munsters and Leave it to Beaver houses are...

Yeah,

The last few times that we were there they had "Wisteria St" blocked off to the tram due to filming during the week. When we were there on the weekend we got to go down the street once and the other time (on the w/e) we were told by the Tram Host that the street was closed due to too much equipment for filming being parked on the street

Weekdays are very busy on that street. In addition to Housewives, they do a ton of commercials there. Even my kids can pick out the houses and the street on a commercial. They got good eyes.

When we were there last November, we saw the stars of Crossing Jordan as they walked over to a filming area of the back lot. A couple of them waived and a few acted like the tram didn't exist...

Sweet. I saw Julie Andrews as they filmed the Princess Diaries 2 when I went last spring!
