Whenever I finally visit Paris, I want to take a side trip over there. I've read about this place before and it looks sounds pretty neat.

I've never even heard of this - thanks for sharing the information! The architecture is really incredible and the rides seem interesting.

Nah, only 80 minutes from Paris by TGV and you're at the back door. It is amazing, especially the Magic Carpet theater which has TWO Imax screens. One in front, and one below (transparent floors). There's a program about Imax that I've seen on either the Science Channel or the Nat Geographic channel that features it. It proves that new films could be made for Soarin' for years to come and be just as impressive. Here are some pics from 2007.
