Out of the Fog and Into Sunny San Diego Plus a Bonus Trip

I finally got to go to San Diego. It had been something that we had talked about for awhile. The weather was beautiful, we got to go to so many beautiful places, and boy did we see a lot of animals.

Our first day there we went to the San Diego Zoo.

The only place in California to see a panda.

I believe that the meerkats were a group favorite.

The animals like to make faces at me. Seriously I take unusual amount of pictures with animals sticking there tongues out.

All the birds!

NEXT: Sea World

Re: Out of the Fog and Into Sunny San Diego Plus a Bonus Trip

The second day we went to Sea World. It was too cold for the rapids and Atlantis was closed but it was a beautiful park with great shows.

Otters make great waiters.

The show takes a violent turn.

"I'm innocent, I swear."

Things are getting out of control!

I don't think he can be trusted...

I can see our RV park from here.

Off in the distance you can see downtown.

NEXT: We see a lot of ships.

The third day we went down to the bay.

We went onto the retired USS Midway.

Put in a little perspective.

Then the real life thing.

In the park next to the Midway.

Later we went to the Hotel Del Coronado. We had gone the night we arrived but it was dark so I couldn't take any pictures. They were celebrating their 150 year anniversary. It was a beautiful place with an even more beautiful view.

Day four we went to Balboa Park. Architecture is one of my favorite things to photograph. It was filled with museums, gardens, an amphitheater and palm trees!

Thank you. I loved San Diego. We even extended our trip because we didn't want to leave. I'm ready to move.

My daughter and I went to San Diego this past summer. We did the zoo, the wild animal park and Seaworld and had a blast. Thank you for letting me remember and enjoy that all over again. It looks like you had a blast.
