Wonderon 2006, 07, and 08

It's getting to be WonderCon season again in the Bay Area, so I thought I'd share my photos of the past three years of attending this fun event for people to see. It's always a good time, if always draining on the wallet Enjoy!

Television horror show host Dr. Ghoulfinger

Wolverine and Blade duke it out for a uninterested lady in the background...

I am not sure what is with the potted plant. Except it reeks of DANGER!

THX 1138 for the win!

X-Men and Teen Titans crossover...

Random appearance by representatives of the Suicide Girls...

We must ride....to CAMELOT!

Oh, you wacky furries.

By far the strangest people I've ever encountered at a Con so far

Brad Bird, director of Iron Giant, The Incredibles, and Ratatouille

Creature from the Black Lagoon! My personal favorite Universal monster.

Mark Brooks, a favorite artist of mine

Steve Purcell, creator of Sam and Max

Me with Brian Posehn, actor/comedian/writer and a all-around kickass guy.

I don't even know.

Hooray for Firefly cosplay!

Andrew Stanton, director of Finding Nemo, Wall-E, and the upcoming John Carter of Mars.

Go Team Venture!

No convention is complete without one person in the Slave Leia outfit.

Thanks for looking and hope you enjoyed! I will naturally have many photos from this year's event when it comes.

Great photos. I am usually working, so I don't get to see costumes unless they stop where I am working.

If you are at the con, I am going to be in Artist Alley i.e. AA047(Atomic Bear Press/Brian Kolm)

Love the Eric Draven/Crow costume (one of my favorite movies).

And... ZOMG! Tom Servo!

Hey Brian, when are you going to be there? I'll be sure to come by your booth and say hi. It's been a few years since I've seen you.

I will be there all three days. The con runs Feb 27th through March 1.

The Saturday of the convention the Cartoon Art Museum will be having a reception/fundraiser that's usually pretty fun.

Cool. Give me a call sometime, it's been a few years since we hung out. You heard about our class reunion last year right?

I can relate.

Since nothing was official, Peter DeQuincey, Mike Vawter, and Heather Wallace each tried to organize thier own reunion. As usual for our class, not one of them got past the planning stage. god our class sucked. lol!!!!!

Re: Wonderon 2006, 07, and 08

I love comic conventions. I go to Emerald City Comicon in Seattle every year and post a report here afterwards. I love the cosplayers and get pictures of and with some at each con. Thanks for the pictures.
