Oh no Pengy your tree say it isn't so! I am sorry your beautiful Joshua tree got damages it takes so long for them to go in the first place. It usually takes hundreds of years for them to get that big.

Oh yea I forgot to tell you if we are ever going to meet for lunch or something we need to get to it before to long. We have to move by July! The military is sending us to Oceanside area so no more living in the desert for me. I am going to miss it so much. I am trying to talk my hubbie into living in murrieta instead of Oceanside so i still have some desert but it wont be the same as out here.

Me to! Since I have one in my front yard. Of course its about half the size it was thanks to the snow we had in December.

Anyhow, I did not buy that Pele (since there's no more room for stuff. really) but I did the next best thing... Take a picture!

So let me know if you snap one up and leave a picture of it here...

Great shots - postcard perfect! I haven't been out there in years, for climbing and bouldering. Looks great with the blooms coming out. (Leviathan - the Eastern side of San Diego County has some great desert areas, too, and not a very long drive. PenguinSoda - do you have any pics of the snow on that J Tree?)
