And this company is run by the Seminole Tribe here in Florida. They own the hotels and the restaurants. They bought out the original company that owned them. There's actually a tribal rate for the hotels you can get if you're a member of the tribe or if you're in good with the Elders. The tribal rate is dirt cheap compared to how much those rooms can go for.

Now.... they need to put in an ABBA ride, dammit!

The logo is pretty creative. Thanks, k_peek. Love how they wove the guitar and looped coaster image together. Lettering wise, the italics combined with the font takes "stylish" up a notch or two. This slick new logo makes the phrase Freestyle Music Park a sassy flow.

Yesterday, I posted that I didn't care for the name at all. Guess I just had my heart set on the Hard Rock connection. I'm pretty darn excited about this logo, and am now thinking that the new name rocks just as much if not more than the former.

I could relate to an ABBA ride! Take A Chance On Me would be a must for the ride's soundtrack. There would have to be a soundtrack for any ride based on this iconic band!

As for Hard Rock Hotel belonging to the Florida Seminole tribe, good for them! Glad they purchased the rights from Hard Rock International. The hotel seems to be doing great under their management, and Indians deserve a chance to make good with our free enterprise system.

As I belong to the Oklahoma based Five Civilized Tribes, perhaps I might be allowed the discount rate. I plan to look into it soon! Thank you for the heads up on all this great information, aimster.

I hope the best for the park as well.

The one stand out ride as far as I could tell was the Moody Blues Dark Ride, but I could understand that they might not want the ride to be interpenetrated as a drug related. Most of the ride is digital video projections, so they could easily alter it to be more fantasy themed. Maybe like a Yellow Submarine-esq storyline. There might also be an issue with licensing the music and name for the ride, they could be tied up with the former owners.

At one time there was a Yellow Submarine simulator ride which would be good fit. There are multiple middle sections of the film; the 'Sea of Monsters' , 'Sea of Time' and the 'Sea of Science'. The Yellow Submarine Adventure

I would love to see some unique dark rides come to the park, I'm not much of a roller coaster person.

First time I saw a video of the Nights In White Satin ride. It was a fun experience ..trippy too. Never knew what imagery to expect around each corner. I agree, that a Beatles Yellow Submarine darkride would be the perfect ride for any music themed park. I'm thinking about a ride along the lines of Universal's Spiderman ..incorporating CG motion based film, special effects, animatromnics, and an independently traveling vehicle (with a built in interactive control panel).

The CG Yellow Sub motion ride film (and background information) was mindblowing cool. This is the first I've heard of it. The engineers and artists created a masterpiece in art and technology in a relatively short period of time.

AtomicBear. My highest admiration and appreciation goes to you for bringing this interesting information to light, along with the videos of magical attractions.

Although I love coasters, darkrides are far more appealing to me. One great thing about Disney is that it has a knack for combining coasters with darkride elements.

I love dark rides too and when I post I always try to get the links to what ever information I can find.

I know this dark ride will probably never happen, but I would seriously love to see a dark ride based on Jefferson Starship/Airplane/whatever they're currently called now's .."White Rabbit".

I honestly don't care that it's usually considered a drug song, it would make for one crazier then normal Alice in Wonderland.

I just love The Beatles Yellow Submarine idea. I'm all for it, with anything about The Beatles.

How about a little show. Performing the era's of Rock/Music. Starting with the Swinging 20's to today's rock music.

An era by era show would be fun! I love all music from swing to pop rock.

But, but...I liked the Roadies stunt show.
I tried to video tape Nights in White Satin, but it turned out weird.

I'd love to see a ride that I would call Rockin' "Good Time" Portal. This would be a special evects 3-D ride that would that would take guests on a tour of rock/pop history from the 50's to present. It would have also utilize animatronics, holography, film ..and of course all kinds of riceting music that would "bounce guests off the walls".

Would also like to see a water flume ride (possibly even a cobination darkride and watercoaster). As for the theme, something light and fun like Splash Mountain or Dudley DoRight's Ripsaw Falls. Perhaps Freestyle Music Park could cut a licen"sing" deal with the owners of a family production such as Alvin and the Chipmonks. Might be called something along the lines of Chipmonk's Wetlands Adventure.

Would also like to see a target game ride like Men In Black or Buzz Lightyear. Might incorporate the Beatles ride into this and shoot at Blue Meanies with musical instrument/ guns.

How cool would that be? Love the idea of a bizarro Alice type of ride!
