DisneyKid Hits America!!! (Great America)

Tomorrow I will be going to Cedar Fair's (formerly Paramount's) Great America in Santa Clara, CA. Hopefully I can get my phone hooked up to Twitter so I can report live, but no promises on that. I will, however be posting a full TR right here in this thread, hopefully starting by Monday.

Here it is!

We met at 7:30 in the school theather (it's a nice theather for a school, but we are a performing arts school after all) for briefing. I am a tech, BTW
, so I know how to run most of this stuff.

Only around 8:00 people started rushing in.

After briefing, the head chaperone rounded up the other chaperones.

At around 9:15am, we boarded the buses, which left about 10 minutes later.

We gathered our wristbands ($5 for unlimited drinks all day- what a deal!). My favorite part about high school field trips is that we don't need to stick with a group- yay freedom!

(Yay bad picture of me!)

Anyway, between 10:15-ish when we entered the park, and 11:45, our meet time, I rushed to Top Gu... er, Flight Deck. Still one of my favorite rides in the park. The line was probably the longest I waited in that day.

Anyway, after my first free drink, ice cream, and popcorn, I headed over to the carousel for the meet....

...And the performance.

Oh my god. I know I promised Part 2 almost a month ago. I had it right there all done, but then when I clicked "Submit Reply" and it told me there were too many searches and I have to redo it. Luckily I still have the pictures on Photobucket so hopefully I can have it up by Thursday.
