Cool, now we can get a Tweet when it closes for .001 inch of rain instead of just guessing.

So I did have the right one added all along... It would seem likely because this was where the link went to from Knotts website! Oh well I will follow both and hopefully they release some interesting haunt info and updates piece by piece!

Re: Knott's Berry Farm on Twitter!

Just add both... I would assume that if one linked me to it from Knotts official site then told me to go to the other one it doesnt hurt to have both on there!

Anyhow, whats really cool is that KnottsBrryFarm has some live posts about the whole tightrope thing going on today... still kinda wild that a daredevil would try something like that on a tightrope.

I dont think that cheating death at Knotts is ever a good idea... unless I am doing something that is already death defying and risky enough in itself like riding Perilous Plunge! That ride already claimed one victim already giving it a death trap status... how many more must suffer its wrath? [Goliath at Six Flags also claimed one victim so I guess that coaster also holds death trap status as well]... I am morbid minded this weekend and for those that dont know I am being sarcastic... I have been on Perilous plunge numerous times without anything going wrong... but that ride totally is a death trap with a line that moves as slow as a snail so in the hot summer you are liable to die of heatstroke before even getting on the boat!

Re: Knott's Berry Farm on Twitter!

OK, I have had some discussion about this with the fine folks at Knott's...

The correct name is "knottsbrryfarm"

Somebody had already claimed the first name they wanted to use.

Knott's Berry Farm (knottsbrryfarm) on Twitter

Also, Knott's is also on Facebook as "Knott's Berry Farm"

So get your friends to sign up....

Want to know what they will release? How about what has been retired, new mazes, new shows, special celebrity appearances, etc.

First of all you wont be wasting anything with Twitter because its a different type of social network in itself... Its not no myspace or facebook... its more of a cross between facebooks status updates and myspaces status and mood updates and its kinda like those 2 had a child together and burped out this interactive thing called Twitter [its more fun with a cell phone and unlimited text]... I used to hate it and never thought of getting one ever but its one of those things that eventually grows on you after you start using it! And after using it I can see why its catching on with people, its totally fun and really neat!

Then when you learn how to use it through your cell phone by receiving your closest friends updates to your phone as text messages and learn to text 40404 with a 140 character message from your phone then it becomes fun because you can update it live from anywhere!

For example, lets say you are a micechatter enjoying a day at Disneyland and have lots of other micechatters or people you usually spend time with at the parks on your twitter account and they have their device updates set to receive updates from their friends to their cell phones [in a perfect work everyone would do this but not everyone will or can because it works best when you only set text updates to close friends in your circle and have unlimited texting on your phone]... Well you could post to twitter what you are doing at that moment like standing in line for Haunted Mansion, ordering Dole Whip, or just eating at Plaza Inn... or you could arrange a get together somewhere in the park to everyone following your twitter by just texting twitter your 140 character message of something like "at the parks, heading to Disneyland for some fun, any micechatters up to meet at the hub?" and then hopefully some people will reply and you get their updates or replies to your phone, some will post other twitter messages and its totally live and fun.

Another example... I plan on posting twitter updates to my account during my Haunt trip this October regarding what mazes I like and which ones were meh, and which scare tactics totally freaked me out because thats a way to come back home and view the updates from my trip and reflect back at how amazing everything was... Because this Octobers going to be fun... I plan on tweeting my trip especially so my friends at here in AZ can be jealous they didnt decide to come along because I have kept the invite open to them all year long since Haunt last year... its not my problem if they dont make it this year

The point is that you are not wasting anything with twitter... I keep up on my friends through my phone everyday.

Oh and if people want to start following me on Twitter I can be found here... keep in mind I have to accept your follow invite, I put mine on private because random companies and marketing tried to follow me and I figured I would keep it to close friends and online contacts only... not marketing bots!
