Legoland a fun park for older ages?

Im in my Mid 20's and it seems im intrested in going to legoland.
it just looks cool and from seeing tv and the main sites stuff..looks awesome

I want to know is..since the rides are meant for more of the younger set, is there still things that i can enjoy seeing at the park?

also.. are the activities for all ages? like the dino dig and gold panning in Castle hill and Dino isle?

If you can have fun on Disneyland attractions then I'm sure you'll have no problem. (by that, I mean their roller coasters are along the same scale as BTMRR for the most part)

It is mostly intended for younger kids... I would say 5-10. However, there are things for people who are older to do, like Lego models of famous buildings.

Unfortunately, Legoland isn't really set up for those older than about 12 years of age. There are certainly some things that adults will enjoy, like Miniland and a couple of the rides. But so much of it is just little kiddy rides that I can't really recommend that you go unless you are already in the area and just dying to see it.

If you have kids with you, it can be a lot of fun to walk around with them and ride some of the attractions with them. It also helps you feel not so out of place if you have a child or two with you.

Legoland is well done and a really great park. But it is built for a very limited demographic.

I agree with Dusty, but I'd put the age at about 9 or 10 instead of 12.

With some kids I'd say 9 is too old. Think of it like a Chuck E' Cheese, after 10 it's not cool anymore.

I like the Lego video games and even building Legos. I wish Legoland would have more to do for older people. The Lost Kingdom Adventure looks cool though.

I don't know... I'm 38, and always find plenty to do at LegoLand, without kids!

That said, most of the rides are clearly geared for children. But Miniland can be appreciated by all, and I still get a kick out of the Technic Coaster, Dragon Coaster, Knight's Tournament (the only ride like it in the country, if I'm not mistaken), Lost Kingdom Adventure (a Buzz Lightyear-like attraction), walk through the Adventure's Club, and splashing (or getting splashed) on the Aquazone Wave Racers. All can be ridden and appreciated by single, adult riders.

Are the ride seats intended for smaller riders or do they accommodate tall adults easily as well?

i'm 5-4 but really over weight i never had a problem

I'm 6'4 and sometimes they can be a bigger problem than weight.
