Tinker Bell's Walk of Fame Star

Has anyone heard of when Tinker Bell would be getting her star on the Walk of Fame as she was scheduled to get it this year 2009

Re: Tinker Bell's Walk of Fame Star

What? Fictional characters get stars on the walk of fame?

Are we talking about the real walk of fame or another one?

I've never seen a cartoon character as one of the stars but I could always be mistaken. :O

I checked, and it turns out Woody Woodpecker, Winnie the Pooh, Snow White, the Simpsons, the Rugrats, Mickey Mouse, Kermit the Frog, Godzilla, the Flintstones, Donald Duck, Bugs Bunny, and Big Bird all have stars on the walk of fame.

Look at those characters/shows and tell me which one is not like the others. XD

Not to mention, Disneyland is the 1st Place to receive a Star in Hollywood. Here are a couple pictures from the dedication of Disneyland's Star

Re: Tinker Bell's Walk of Fame Star

Darn! I must have just missed it! I was in Hollywood a few days ago for my birthday and was trying my hardest to read the stars but was pre-occupied taking pictures of the surrounding buildings.

What I would do to go back and visit these stars (especially the disneyland one, of course).

Wow, it took 50 years. lol.

Re: Tinker Bell's Walk of Fame Star

I lived in Hollywood for 8 years, only a ten minute walk to the Chinese theater. I went to many, many walk of fame ceremonies and created a coffee table book of photos to show to guests. I don't think I went to any character ones, but I was aware of them.

Re: Tinker Bell's Walk of Fame Star

"TinkerBell and the Lost Treasure" is scheduled for an October 27 release. If they're going to do a star, it will undoubtedly tie in with that.

Goover, did you go to the Disney studio store/ soda fountain? If you did, you probably walked right over Disneyland's star.

Lol nope. We didn't even cross the street. My mother is sort of disabled so it was easier to just stay on one street. We had only a few hours to go sight seeing before we had to hit the road.

But darn if only I had known. I've never even heard of this before.

And if those loony tune characters can get a star then why can't tinkerbell. I mean REALLY? And how about snow white - the first animated princess in the film industry?

Because the Looney Tunes are older than Tinkerbell and are just a little more iconic when it comes to animation, at least IMO.
