Socal Waterparks

Well i was wondering what is the best water park in socal
I perfer raging waters because its more thrilling.
Soak city doesnt have any thrilling body slides or splash pools and is very small.
I havent been to Wild Waters but i heard it was fun.

Re: Socal Waterparks

I chose Wild Rivers (you put wild waters).

Soak city is the cleanest and Raging Waters has the most thrilling rides, but Wild River is both thrilling AND clean. Raging waters also has a lot of hills and the pavement can have acorns and stuff on it so it's tougher to navigate.

Re: Socal Waterparks

I voted for wild rivers because it is simply the best value, it lacks the thrill value of other parks but is very clean, has a nice wave pool, and the people that visit and work there are pleasent and courteous. Soak City is very clean and pleasent but it lacks variety and is very small. Raging Waters has some of my favorite attractions but unfortunately because it is often very dirty and the teenagers that work/visit there run amuck in that place I'm completely turned off by how much of a Magic Mountain it has become. Personally I would much rather go somewhere where I wouldn't have to worry about my rent-a-tube being stolen by some thug kid while I'm not looking. Not to knock Knott's though, Knott's is great but it's just too small.

Re: Socal Waterparks

Legoland is planning on opening its own water park for next summer so that will be a good option for those with young families, though it will be a very small waterpark (for small people).

I voted for Wild Rivers as well from the perspective of those with a young family. I found it clean, the staff and other guests courteous and nicely laid out. Raging Waters was very crowded with a Magic Mountain style crowd, not the cleanest, very inconvenient parking and rides are all cramped together. I haven't been to Soak City so I can't say anything about it.

Re: Socal Waterparks

Soak City has three different locations (Buena Park, Palm Springs and Chula Vista).

And Six Flags Hurricane Harbor is missing from the poll also.....

Re: Socal Waterparks

I had to go with Raging Waters out of the ones listed. Although I do think that Hurricane Harbor is very underrated. They have some great slides. That would be my #2 choice.

EDIT: Added Hurricane Harbor to the poll and put the correct name for Wild Rivers.
