![]() | Just wondering if anyone has eaten at Medieval Times? Is it worth the price? I really don't know much about it. Just what I read on their web site.

![]() | Re: Has anyone ever ate at Medieval Times? I haven't been there in years. But when I did go I found it enjoyable. You sit there and are eatting while they do all the jousting and stuff. I don't know if they have changed the show since I have been there, but it was fun to do something different that you normally do for a dinner.

![]() | Re: Has anyone ever ate at Medieval Times? We did last year, and we had a great time! There was a group of seven of us, and we wound up being in the winners section. (Our guy won, I think because he had the hottest hair). We got a bit pasted prior to the show, owing to the Cuervo special they were running. It really was fun, and well worth the price! Here's a pic of me and the King, who was laughing at my sorry drunk ***.

![]() | Re: Has anyone ever ate at Medieval Times? First, the Excalibur casino here in Vegas copied MT's formula and IMO opinion is a much better presentation of what is essentially the same gig. If you're planning to come here sometime in the future, save it for that instead. As for MT, I went maaaany years ago. Go see Jim Carrey's "The Cable Guy" if you want to get the basic experience of Medieval Times, with a twist I won't spoil. ![]() Matthew Broderick: Why don't I have a fork or knife? Waitress: *sighs, speaks like an uninterested drone* There were no forks or knives in medieval times, so there are no forks or knives at Medieval Times. Now, would you like some more Pepsi? Matthew Broderick: They didn't have forks in mideval times, but they had Pepsi?

![]() | Re: Has anyone ever ate at Medieval Times? I went a few years ago, and had a great time. We were seated in the winning section...I imagine it would be a little less exciting to be in one of the losing sections...but fun, anyway. The overall experience was pretty cool, certainly quite different than anything I had ever seen before. I am planning on making a return trip to Medieval Times this January, and I would certainly reccommend it to others.

![]() | Oh gosh - it has been about 9 years for me. And how weird - I was in the "winner's section" too!! My funny about it -- I had read the stuff ahead of time about no forks/knives and made a big deal about remembering it. EXCEPT that I recalled it as not having any NAPKINS!! So, there I was armed with a full new package of handiwipes and not a fork to be seen... The food was good and plentiful. My DH loved looking at all the medieval stuff for sale after the show. I might do it again when the kiddoes are older or have other options for the evening! |

![]() | Re: Has anyone ever ate at Medieval Times? Well, if you want to go for show, Medieval Times is the way to go. However, their food's merely decent. I've only been to the one in Orlando, though. Foodwise, though, the best dinner theater dinner is at Dixie Stampede... check that out if you ever can.

![]() | Re: Has anyone ever eaten at Medieval Times? We had an excellent time. The price of the tickets is worth it, but I would caution you on the pre-show drinks. For 5 adults and 1 child we spent $120 on 1 drink each we got a great glasses but wow. I did however have the best deal a huge margarita with about 1/4 of a bottle of tequila. I had so much fun at the show. I think alcohol is a must, it helped us really cheer on your knight. The other thing we did was the royal package with VIP seating. We got right on the arena in the winning knight. I got there early to get the good seating and I think that is worth it also. The food was really good and filling. All and all a great evening! |
