2005 Internet Wooden Tracked Roller Coaster Poll

Once again for the 10th straight year in a row, PGA's world famous Grizzly up here has retained its complete dominance and title for the world's worst woodie, way to go Paramount!:

At least Ghostrider is still up there, despite desperately needing some serious TLC.

Re: 2005 Internet Wooden Tracked Roller Coaster Poll

I can't believe our woodie here in British Columbia at Playland beat out Ghost Rider at Knott's!
Playland's (PNE) woodie came in at 18
Ghostrider came in at 20

Re: 2005 Internet Wooden Tracked Roller Coaster Poll

From what I've heard, PNE's Coaster packs some wild airtime, sounds like it deserves a top 20 spot. Ghostrider has gotten so rough though, now takes some defensive riding to not get beat up too bad. Really wish they'd take better care of it and maintain it like they did in it's first few years, would definitely still be a top 10 (notice the significant slide in popularity the last few years):

Re: 2005 Internet Wooden Tracked Roller Coaster Poll

I don't think Ghostrider deserves to be in the top 20. Not even top 50 IMO.

Back in it's first 3 or 4 years of operation heck yeah. I would even say #1. But now I can't even ride that thing. It hurts.
