Parking at SFMM is now $15.00

http://www.sixflags.com/parks/magicm...nfo/index.html

Wonder how long until the other SoCal parks follow suit.

Although I think a $5 increase is excessive, I'm not surprised.

That is absolutely insane! It's one thing to raise admissions, but to go a step further and price gouge your guest on everything else (have a bad feeling this is only the beginning) is such a bad move IMO. I sure hope they rethink this like they did with the no re-entry policy, othewise they'll have ALOT of PO'd people at those parking booths (poor attendants!).

Six Flags Great Adventure also raised their parking prices.

This appears to be only hitting the flagship parks for now, so I'm sure SFOT and SFOG will follow.

I think parking is over rated everywhere. I understand they have to maintain the lot but it is still ridiculous.

For $15, do they guarantee that your car is safe and that you won't get shot in the parking lot?

First of all, SFMM does not maintain their lot. When was the last time it was paved or sealed.

I am glad SFMM is raising the prices on everything. Hopefully this will price out the crowd that has been causing all the problems there and will help bring it back to a family park free of gangsters and other problem people.

This is the whole reason I have not been there in 2 years and I only live 2 miles from the park.

Re: Parking at SFMM is now $15.00

OK, there is a select group of people that either are or pretend to be gang members. If you are one of them, then you see no problem. Visiting SFMM, this is generally the type of crowd that is there and works there. SFMM recruits from throughout the Los Angeles area. There is a reason there are Sheriff's stationed there. Yes, this is the same reason there are Sheriffs stationed at Universal Citywalk....the same crowd visits there. The Redline subway goes to downtown and connects with the Blueline that serves all of the lower income neighborhoods. YES, I am saying the lower income people are the problem to SFMM. That is not a racist statement. A racist statement is something said about a particular race, not people belonging to a group. Gangs are a group which are comprised of blacks, hispanics, whites, asians, etc.

Not really racist (hence the groupist remark) but I'm not sure what to call it it's the assumption that you lump ALL gangsters into the problem category.
