 |  BGT: Gwazi Rider Dies... I hate to post this one... Man dies after riding a roller coaster at Busch Gardens Tampa, Florida - Investigators are looking into the death of a 52-year-old man who died yesterday after riding a roller coaster at Busch Gardens. Thomas Welch apparently said he didn't feel well after riding Gwazi yesterday. Emergency crews at the park gave him CPR but we awere told he later died at University Community Hospital. The thing about this story that just tweaks my bird feathers is the fact that on the radio this morning the press played it off like, Man dies of a massive heart attack while riding Gwazi yesterday, it has been determined that this is NOT the fault of Busch Gardens it was a constriction of blood vessels and a corrated(sp) artery. Now when those people died at WDW, I never heard anything like that, it was all....Person leaves ride and collapses and dies after riding Mission Space, cause unknown. Now for the record they do state later how the person died but the entire time leading up to that the press rips WDW a new one but Busch Gardens gets the seal of approval?....WT...*smacks*

This NEVER happens in Japan and Europe, and some of their coasters are ALOT more intense than coasters here. Why is that??? Maybe because they aren't as overweight and full of junk as our society???
