The Poor Mans Version of Disneyland

My partner came across this, not sure if it has been posted on MiceChat, but I thought I would share. This is the poor mans (Six Flags) version of Disneyland. It has since been closed.

Re: The Poor Mans Version of Disneyland

ORDDU: Ah, yes! Nara Dreamland! My sisters and I know it fairly well! Years ago--on a side trip back home to Morva--we flew over it, looked down with gasps of horror and then kept on flying; never looking back!

ORWEN: A good friend of ours actually visited the place in the mid 90's I think. He said the place was creepy and unreal. Almost like a ghost town or something out of a science fiction movie. He never had any desire to visit the place again.

ORDDU: Of course we had no idea the place had been closed down. With Tokyo Disneyland being situated within the same country, I suppose there were too many unfavorable comparisons between the two parks--which must have caused an attendance drop for Nara Dreamland. But, then, that's just a witch's speculation...

One of the posters on here has been there. He is lucky enough to be a very well traveled Bear.

Re: The Poor Mans Version of Disneyland

That is a park full of stolen rides!

Parks stolen from:
Disneyland
SFGAM
Cedar Point (the corkscrew ride is identical to the one at CP)

It's very odd and weird that NO ONE was there!!!!
