i'll start i herd that there closing BTTF?

whats going on with the war of the worlds crash site? i herd that it was being taken down due to filming of JP4 anybody herd anything else

they wont close BTTF until orlando's is almost done... and they have yet to say anything.

War of the Worlds set is not changing.... for now... JP4 is still just undegoing script editing and writing... no filming has yet to be started abd probably will not be started until late this year.

BTTF is said to close late this year as well for a possible Simpsons ride which I disagree with.

Stage 13 is said to open this summer, most likely in June.

Major updates on JPRA is rumored to start this fall.

and last, Backdraft might be added to the studio tour, the trams just drive through the show building, the room blows up, then it is off to the next sets etc. I am not too sure about this one, it is just what I've heard.

JP4? You're kidding, right? Considering how bad the last one was (was so bad I turned it off not even halfway when it finally came to TV), I don't even know they're bothering.

Has anyone from MC actually been there recently? I am trying to find out for sure if WaterWorld is running or not. We plan to go on the 27th and love this show.

We were there on Tuesday and it was open then. The only shows that were not showing was Fear Factor and the Blues Brothers. I know they show the Blues Brothers on the weekend but I don't know what the schedule is for Fear Factor. Sometimes it is open during the week, sometimes it isn't. Same with the weekends. It seems pretty hit or miss. Since you are going around Spring Break time it will most likely be open though.

They were redoing the front of Stage 13 and getting rid of all the Van Helsing signs. It still says it is going to reopen in Spring 2007 though. Rumor is either at the end of this month or next month. All I know is they were doing some pretty heavy duty remodeling on the facade on Tuesday.

The Tram Tour was the basic tour without going through New York street and Brownstone street and and the Courtyard. The Fast and Furious part of the tram was closed much the the relief of my fiance. The last few times we went the spitters in the Jurassic Park part of the tram were broken too.

Jurassic Park River Adventure was all working this time around which was awesome. It usually has a few things not working but I was happy to get a ride with all the elements working.

We were just there today. Great day too! Moderate crowds, but we know our way around them.

Everything was up and running except for Fear Factor. The facade for the new Univ Monsters looks cool. The sign still said opening spring '07.

The Tram tour included both the F&F and Wisteria Lane. They also announced the JP4 "possibility"... We also were able to tour all of the backlot. A rarity these days.

We ran into our two favorite Tour Guides, Matt and Chris. They're the best!!!

Oh good Lord, Jurassic Park 4?! You've gotta be kidding me! They're getting as bad as Disney is getting with Pirates of the Caribbean. LOL

And I swear if they take BTTF out to replace it with some Simpsons ride I'm going to be pretty irked. I could handle them getting rid of BTTF if it were for something of equal or better par. But The Simpsons? Um...No.

I agree... so far BTTF in orlando is closing march 30, however no date has been confirmed for USH's version... yet.

That is good to know. I think we are going to be going today for a couple of hours. Not sure yet. I have had Matt before and that guy is hilarous. We also like "Liza", her real name escapes me but she looks exactly like Liza Minelli and even calls herself Liza throughout the tour.

I am kinda torn on when I like to go. On the weekends you can see the whole backlot and go through Wisteria Lane because nothing films on the weekends. I like going on the weekdays even though it is an abbreviated tour because there is a lot more action on the backlot.
