Change USH's Fast & Furious into TRANSFORMERS

Yet another idea comin' right up.

How about instead of keeping Universal Studios Hollywood's The Fast & the Furious: Extreme Closeup, replace it with something that represents TRANSFORMERS. Whether Dreamworks' TRANSFORMERS does good or bad box office (personally, I'm not too hyped but I'll still go see it), this would be the perfect compliment/ highlight to this "Transportation Department" section of the studio tour, better than Fast & the Furious. But those F&F cars and props can still remain like they are now. But the show scene should be changed for TRANSFORMERS.

The movie relates to vehicles, but these vehicles are really robots in disguise. So it'd be awesome to see them transform and perhaps do battle. I'm not exactly sure how or if the robocoaster arms could be used, but I still have a feeling it's possible.

Anyone have any suggestions how to present TRANSFORMERS on the tour?

I dont have any ideas, but Id be pretty happy if they took F&F out. Its pretty lame to me.

It should be interesting to note that when I went to USH yesterday that part of the tram was closed. I don't know what they are doing but my fiance was happy we didn't have to go through it.

Yeah, for all of the hoopla that they put out there about the new addition to the Tram tour, it sure did fizzle out fast.

Unfortunately, we've had to see it about a dozen or so times so far, and it hasn't improved with age.

We'll be there this saturday. If we're lucky, it'll be down for "refurb"... hehe

If USH wanted dancing cars, this is the way to do it

Re: Change USH's Fast & Furious into TRANSFORMERS

From what I understand it was originally pretty good with the cars coming very close to the trams, etc... Then that God awful California theme park agency came through and decided it was too dangerous so they had to change it. This is the same agency, who according to Al, won't let the peoplemovers come back because someone could reach out and touch a wall as they ride.

Stupid governmental interference at its finest.
