LegoLand, 3-19

Enjoyed a trip to LL yesterday. Great day!

Nice weather, and light crowds.

They are introducing new entry machines, so all current AP holders need to get new ones that have the barcode positioned correctly on it to fit in the new machines.

They are currently installing a new town in MiniLand...

Sin City!

Or also known as Lost Wages, I mean Las Vegas!

It will be VERY impressive! Quite a bit of it is under construction, but you can easily tell how it will be set up. The MGM structure is awesome! The Luxor looks complete, and Treasure Island is almost there. They even have the two ships which will be in water upon completion.

They are also currently working on the Excalibur Structure inside the Lego Building shop, which is located just above MiniLand. It is interesting to watch the Lego builders working away. How much fun is that??? Adult's getting paid to build cool Lego buildings!

Sadly, the NASA section has been removed. It had the launchpad and a space shuttle there. Only the outlines of the structures remain on the pavement. All Lego pieces have been removed. It wasn't there too long, either.

Al rides were up and running except for the log ride in Pirate Shores. The kids were having a blast getting soaked under that big bucket. It must dump a hundred gallons or so of water every couple of minutes. Glad we took extra clothes...

Had a great meal at the Sports Cafe up near the Aquazone. Eric was our server and did a great job. As we left the Park for the day, I turned in one of those comment cards praising him for his work. He deserved it.

Gotta love the 25% AP discount on food at LL too!

As usual, another fun trip for the entire family at LegoLand!

Sounds like a good time! I haven't been to LL in years! Maybe I'll try to go after summer and see how much it's grown.

LL rocks! I saw them building Las Vegas when I was there.
