Sea World Orlando: Beyond Shamu on the Travel Channel

A new 1 hour long show about Sea World Orlando is on right now( on the east Coast.)

It will be on a few more times in the next month as well. http://travel.discovery.com/tv-sched...217.121489.0.0

Also on http://travel.discovery.com/tv/seaworld-beyond-shamu/ There's a little info on the show itself, as well as an online exclusive look at Aquatica Sea World's 1st waterpark.

So, how was it? Worth watching during one of the repeats, or should I skip it?

Re: Sea World Orlando: Beyond Shamu on the Travel Channel

I liked it, it was a new one shot this year, so almost all of it was the way the park is currently, except for a couple little bits of older footage they threw in every now and then. It had alot interesting behind the scenes stuff (as in the care of the animals) at both Sea World and Discovery Cove. They briefly touch on the rehabilitation of the manatees as well as Busch's conservation program too.

To me it was neat in that it mostly focused on the animals themselves and the behind the scenes lengths they go through to care for them, yet make it enjoyable for us humans too.

I'd guess you'd like this one. If the airing times aren't convienient perhaps record it for a later viewing.
