Universal Studios-Hollywood Van H walk through??

Is this attraction really scary? Is it anything like they have during the Halloween season? My girlfriend is terrified and won't go into it before I find out. Thanks...

The attraction changed to horror villains.. i do not know how scary it might be, but their are some famous scenes re-enacted in front with you...

Is it already open? When I was there about a month or so ago it was still closed and looked like Van Helsing on the outside and whatnot.

Well, if she gets as scared as I did when I went in there, don't take her in! I honestly didn't know what it was but I really regret going in there especially since my boyfriend asked a little person dressed as a demon to chase me on the way out.

Let's see, it is now called "House of Horrors".

It is open and when it's staffed right it's actually really good from what I've been hearing. It's probably the best theme out of the other's it's been in the past. You even get to see the trees used from the past ET attraction I believe.

It's not a "ride"...It's a walk-through.

It's open and it is VERY cool!

Do it!

Does it have the ET smell? That's awesome if the smell and trees were back.

From my knowledge, they can have up to 9 performers. Frankenstein's MONSTER, the mummy, chucky, werewolf, nosferatu, and psycho mother. I guess a vampire bride or victim, zombie, another mummy?? I think, not too postitive. I need to go experience it myself soon.

Personally, I wish they had one of those "matte" cutouts like in USF. Where you stand infront of this cardboard cutout painting at the right spot, and it looks like the House of Horrors facade reaches further up into the sky. I hope that makes sense.

OMG. That walk through almost made me cry. 2 years ago when i went in it for the first time, my dad came out with fingernail marks on his hand. I dug my nails in really hard i guess. But im a wuss and to this day will not even step foot near it.

Re: Universal Studios-Hollywood Van H walk through??

Here's some pics:

http://www.screamscape.com/html/ush_..._horrors_0.htm

http://coasterrealm.com/template.php...142007&start=6

I actually met the guy who does the pretending to be a fountain statue without his costume and makeup at the studio store. But he kinda left in a hurry so I didn't get to talk to him.

I wish they kept the werewolf from Van Helsing. That thing was awesome and always scares the heck out of people. It was a great ending. But then now you get the scary ET forest and you just may not know where he'll pop up from. Plus it's the more classic version of the werewolf. So they both have their pros & cons.
