Re: New ending at USH's Mummy

^ AH! That would be like the 1st ever "Mummy with the lights on" video like with Space Mountain. Oh well. It'll eventually happen. THanks for the vid! Anything significantly different in the turntable room?

I don't know why, but watching your vid made better sense of the ride for me. Maybe I just needed time to think. The end is now like your still in the Underworld/ under Imhotep's curse. But the eclipse breaks through, sucks up/ sends Imhotep away and with that flash sends your soul back to the living. At least that's how I interrpret (sp) it.

Re: New ending at USH's Mummy

I think it's possible to love both incarnations of the MUMMY ride.

USF is an elegant, thoroughly themed experience with length and space, but the USH experience is angrier and honestly spooky at times.

My wife and I rode the USH MUMMY earlier this year for the first time and came out loving it. I think its bad reputation is entirely unwarranted.

Ahhhh DONT REMIND ME! haha. It really was kinda sad looking at the interior of the mummy. It really is just a big square box with a bunch of wooden boards with WILD FIRE glow in the dark paint and black lights all over the place. But it was cool seeing the track intertwining. One of a kind experinace and I keep kicking myself in the face for not recording it lol.

Re: New ending at USH's Mummy

^ Would you think there would be enough space to add more track layout? I've just been having these ideas to improve the ride and think it could work. This involves returning to more roller coaster time after the turntable and thus lenghtening the ride time...

Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if there was a LOT of empty space in the coaster section.

Are you serious?? The Orlando version is SOOOOOO much better than the scaled down, mediocre version in Hollywood.

I rode the Orlando version first and found myself disappointed after riding the Hollywood version.

Nothing tops that part where the ride stops and for a second you think it's over and the Mummy dude sets off the fire and you launch off again... man, I love that!

Well, Thats hard to answer. The track is so massive because its 4 rows across unlike 2. I would love to say yes, but probably not. They used the whole entire building. BUT the roof was about 25 feet above us, so maybe.

Re: New ending at USH's Mummy

Only above, it's be very difficult to even do that. I think they used the building the best they could.

^ Well that's good to hear. If it looked like they tried their best, that's good for me. THanks for all your responses!
