Anybody else thinking this event may spark a WICKED takeover of Blues Brothers or Wild West stage or Western Stage like in USJ?? Like this is testing the waters of how a WICKED attraction may bring in more guests to the park. I didn't think of the possibility much, but recently discovering Japan just opened an OFFICAL Japanese version of the entire show, not just a brief theme park version, makes me wonder now. Like how Disneyland used to have shows and parades that went along with an animated film's release. Or in the future when the film version of WICKED is released...

I'd still be happy if Blues Brothers was reduced to what they do with Monroe & the Diamond Dolls... drive a car out, do a song and dance number, then meet & greet.

I'm hoping that this is a joke, and this is a guest doing karaoke. If this is really the person doing Galinda, then I hope with all my heart that she never gets to do the role in the movie.

If that's all deliberate and is part of the "character" then I much prefer the original actress Kristen Chenoweth. She really sold the song. Melissa's putting it on the bargain clearance table.

I think both Julie and Melissa are the standbys for the LA production at the Pantages Theater. There was an Emily Rozek listed instead of Melissa, not sure if there was a last minute switch or not.

Speaking of karaoke, most of the girls in the karaoke contest were actually pretty good. Of course it got a bit tiring of the majority singing "Popular"

The employee magazine I have has different info compared to what is seen on the USH website. So I don't know...

I was there too! I was disappointed with Melissa. And I would rather have Megan Hilty play Galinda/Glinda in the movie (if there ever is one) than Kristen Chenoweth.

Another vote for Megan Hilty as Glinda!

I was reading the comments on the "Popular" video and one person said that since Megan Hilty was in New York for nine days, Emily Rozek had to be in the show and therefore couldn't perform at USH, so this Melissa Fahn girl is the understudy of the understudy...and I'm not really a fan.

Emily Rozek was also the u/s for Galinda/Glinda in the tour when it came to LA in 2005. I got to meet her when we did the big MC Trip to Wicked in April. She was in the Broadway production of Thoroughly Modern Millie with my brother's good friend.

I had to turn off the first number. The sound system was overpowering the voices.

WOW ! What a difference ! I much prefer Emily to the last person who performed this on the link at the beginning. (I still prefer Kristen over all though)

Timing issues with pre-recorded backing aside, she really sold the song and tried a few variations to make it her own version.
