![]() | Parc Astérix So I'll be staying in Paris around Sept at the Santa Fe hotel at Disney and was considering a trip to Parc Astérix during the trip.Looking up on its website the only day its open while I'm in Paris will be Sept 27th and I was wondering if it was worth making the trip to see it.I rarely ever visit theme parks that are not owned or operated under a licencing deal to one of the big three (Disney,Universal,Busch) also what is the best way to get from Disney to Parc Astérix? |

![]() | Re: Parc Astérix after september Parc Asterix is only open on weekends . to get there without a car is easy . Take the RER Suburb train from MLV Chessy to Chatelet les Halles and then the RER B on the same platform but on the other side to CDG Airport Terminal 1 . At the CDG Airport Terminal 1 follow the sign Parc Asterix or even longer there is a new shuttle from Paris to Parc Asterix but you need to send an emailto the park to have more informations about it . |

![]() | Re: Parc Astérix Car is the easiest way. It's ok, but not great IMHO. Most of the attractions can be found at large fun fairs and places like Alton Towers (although they have three good coasters - well Gouderaux is getting painful now). The exhibits and shows are quite good (including the Dolphins), but sadly, the cool gladiator show that used to be there is now history. Personally, I would recommend a day in Provins instead. |

![]() | Re: Parc Astérix It's ok, but Alton Towers is better (and I am not a huge fan). But it depends on taste. If you are going to venture out of DLP, I think Provins has much more to offer with recreations of Knight's Battles, Falconry, Siege Warfare demos etc. Astrix has a couple of neat attractions, but really it feels like an amusement park anywhere else in the world. As I say, the coasters are cool, the dolphins and a couple of shows. But the rest of the parks are just spinners really. |

![]() | Re: Parc Astérix yes don't forget Parc asterix has one of the best woodie in Europe . Tonnerre De Zeus asks an American Coaster Enthusiast if he wants to ride this ride he would say yes absolutely . As i would love to ride on The Voyage at Holiday World . Daveasbaloo is right Goudurix is very painfull right now compared to his glorious years back in 1989 . Parc Asterix was my local park for several years |
