![]() | Re: Six Flags.. any news? Rumors are abounding... and it is strictly rumor... but "they" (as in totally unsubstantiated internet speculation that is rapidly growing steam) are projecting a Custom Flyer from B & M. I sure hope so. I was hoping Knott's was going to do this first when they first announced Silver Bullit, but that sure didn't happen. Anyway, we certainly need one in the west coast, to replace the old Stealth from PGA. I actually loved that ride, one of my faves!

Not being over a parking lot, or a stretch of flat land, odd's are it would be a custom design. The rumors have been that this ride will feature the first Immelman on a flyer and also have 2 lift hills. There have also been rumblings of an Intamin Custom woodie, which IMO would be AWESOME. But I say put the flyer on the hill, yank out Psyclone and put in the Intamin woodie.

![]() | Re: Six Flags.. any news? As said above, the B&M Flyer is dominating right now. And a coaster is the LAST thing they need right now. All (MAJOR) service and operations issues aside, they need to get the rides they have running. There has not been a single day yet where every coaster has opened on the same day. The Sky Tower, Metro, Flashback, etc. have been SBNO for years, etc. Even as a HUGE B&M fan, I, like many enthusiasts, have been underwhelmed by the flyers already built. I hope that this one will exceed the others which have been built. |

It's basically what it says it is. It's a "Flying" coaster. The Track is above you and you are basically lying below the track in sort of a flying position. Here is a picture we took of Superman: Ultimate flight when we were in Georgia earlier this year. ![]() And a couple more from TPR: ![]()
