USH Mid-Week Fun

We finished up our week long T-Day trip by enjoying USH on the way home last Wednesday. Even though the wind was blowing when we left Anaheim, it was a mild, wind-less day in Universal City.

The Park was empty! Well, except for a few tour bus loads of Japanese Navy personnel. For some reason, they were all carrying around brief cases with them. ???

We were greeted by Dracula and Frankenstein on our way to the Tram. It happened to be our favorite Dracula. He's from our hometown. No, not Transylvania...

The backlot was quiet with the exception of an Adam Sandler movie that was being shot. They were using part of the New York St set area and the water tank. Oh, and also the Sparticus (sp) Square area.

We also got to go down Colonial St, or Wisteria Lane for you USH johnny-come-lately's... They were setting up a few of the houses with X-Mas decorations.

The Kwik-E-Mart for the Simpson's is now open. The cabinets/shelves inside the store are designed to look like refrigerator doors, but there is no glass. Nice touch! No East Indian clerks behind the counter though...

We finished up our trip by enjoying a nice late lunch/early dinner at Bob's Big Boy on our way to the 5.

Enjoy!

Nice pictures. That Kwik-E-Mart looks whitty, but it looks like there should be people filling-up in front.

You were at Disneyland I presume?

Yep.

Our T-Day trip went from Wed thru Wed, and was split between DL, LegoLand, Knott's and USH.

Too much fun!!!

Great pictures. I think I am glad I did not know last weekend that there was a Kwik E Mart at USH or else we would have had to try to squeeze that in too. Glad you had fun.
