Schlitterbahn Kansas City Update

Yesterday, along with spotting the Moonliner (see DL forum), I also drove by the Schlitterbahn site to see the current progress. I tried to grab some pictures, they aren't the best but, I figure they're better than nothing.

Looking North onto the site:

Looking East:

I tried to get more but my camera died.

Inside the main management offices it says there are 420 days remaining till opening (May 2009). While you wouldn't know it looking at the photos above, they've moved a lot of dirt and cleared a lot of trees. And the concept art makes this all look very promising, especially when you consider this is in Kansas City, Kansas.

Re: Schlitterbahn Kansas City Update

Excited for another Sclitterbahn. We did the original in New Braunfels a few years back and had a blast. Need to get back there someday.

We live in Kansas and are very excited about the new things happening in Kansas City! Any news on when the Legoland will start construction?
