Dan - Tasmic! Goes To Magic Mountain

[Dan - Tasmic!]

So, me and my friend, Sparky, braved the crowds and lines and went to Six Flags on Memorial Day. BAD IDEA!!!

It took us over 2 hours to get to the front gate!!







First, we headed off to X2, the line went outside the queue, but then, we were informed that it had broke down, so we left.

We then headed towards Tatsu. That also had the line go out the Ying Yang!! Yikes. The line was about 4 hours long!! So, we waited!!









It was so totally worth it!!

We were about to get some lunch, but saw the line for Viper was short, we we went on it.















Then, after, we grabbed lunch at Panda Express.



Next stop, the Batman Begins Stunt Show

























































































I like the stunt show, but the voice overs just annoy me that it is not live.

Next, it was off to Goliath!!






Wow, so many buttons!!



Last ride, we rode X2, waited over over two hours.

ETA: Nevermind ... it says only $10 more than a one-day ticket.

It says "Just $10.00" but that's probably on top of a regular admission ticket.

The ride portion is the same, but is supposed to be MUCH smoother with much higher capacity and reliability.

I don't know, I never ridden X. Last time I went was back in senior year of high school and they were in the building X.

Disney uses voices for the live characters as well during Fan!, it's the same situation. Microphone problems would occur too frequently in both shows. I think it is more reliable to use recorded voices.

None were scary, just intense.

One thing I learned, the capes at six flags are like the Indy hats at Disney!!

The thing is they has some that were live and the rest were all recorded. the recorded voiceovers were not insync.
