CONGRATS... we all missed you at the meet and the little ones kept asking where you were! I am not sure if Tinkmomma and I will be able to attend Haunt or not (babysitting issues) but congrats none the less.

Thank you very much, techskip! I missed you guys too. I was stuck sitting in a lawn chir getting sunburnt, but hopefully you will be able to make it to the scary farm. I will see you at the meet this Sunday?

Does anyone know how the alien lazer tag maze is supposed to work? Last year I plunked down the money for the lazer tag gun, and then realized that I had no idea what the rules are for that. After you hit the target a certain number of times, another light flashes and it makes another sort of sound, which means you need to do... something or other before you can hit it again, maybe, and some things shoot at you, but I couldn''t figure out which, or what to do when you're shot, or... aaaagh. I was trying to shoot at a target more than whatever number of times, trying to figure out how or if you can reset the counter by firing at the ground or something, when a monster said, "Hey, you're cheating!" and shot me. How can I cheat when I can't figure out the rules?

I know it's probably a stupid question for anyone who actually plays lazer tag, but I hadn't done anything like that since Photon in Santa Ana closed (yes, I'm old, shut up), and it had different equipment and rules.

And does anyone know anything about Cornstalkers? Is it a maize maze with monsters?

knotts hasn't officially released any info yet other than the names of the mazes. once they update the haunt website we might have a better idea what the mazes will be like from the descriptions there

other than that we have to wait, Haunt employees are under a NDA so they can't discuss much really

Hopefully this year will be better than last year. I just got hired today. Since im a first year i only had 3 options so i picked pyromaniacs since i like the log ride. i bet it will be fun this year and sooooo looking forward to next year where i can work in the better mazes.

congrats lane on crossing the veil!

While the Log Ride and the Mine Ride are prolly the 2 toughest spots to work at Haunt due to their lack of much guest interaction, some great Haunt vets have come out of those places! Just stick with it and you'll surely be able to pick something else next year when you get your re-hire card

Oh yes, as a side note for Kritter...I hope that you and the crew for Quarentine follow in the footsteps of Grudge 2's first year of "Great maze from a crappy movie."

I know I'm being very judgemental at the movie, but I've seen [REC] and from what I've seen and read from Quarentine I am not impressed.

Thankfully for a movie maze, it can turn out fantastic no matter how the movie is.

so so true! because the first year of The Grudge2 maze was amazing, while the movie was just amazingly craptastic
