![]() | Disneyland Paris in January 2010 Hello in january 2010 i considering in going to Europe with a tour group that will go around Europe for three weeks. I will probably leaving three days before the tour starts in London. Here is my plan leave sat California arrive sun in London in early morning and enjoy london sights monday DLRP London to DLRP(day trip) to London tuesday enjoy rest of London and begin tour at 6:00 p.m.I What do you recommend: Train I have seen the that the TGV runs from london to dlrp direct and arrives at the park at 1:29 pm and departs for park at 6:46 and arrives in london 8:28. Now that leaves on 5 hours in the park. Cost about 60 Euros. Fly Leave London 7:20 to paris 9:40 then take 30 minute train ride to Disneyland Paris. Depart from park at 8:00 for 9:45 flight from Paris (CDG) to London (LHR) 9:55 pm. Cost $227 What are the hours of the disneyland park usually for a monday in January? How many hours for a day trip do you recommend to enjoy the day at Disneyland? Is it worth it to visit DLRP for one day and tour more of london. Any additional information will help

![]() | Re: Disneyland Paris in January 2010 actually you better take the Eurostar from London to Paris then take the suburb train to Disney and head back to Paris at night and take the last Eurostar . The Suburb Trains to Disneyland Paris are very easy and convinient . |

![]() | Re: Disneyland Paris in January 2010 Hmmmm, this is a hard call. A day trip from London is exhausting (and I would only consider eurostar for this as the flights take longer in getting to the airports, through security, on the plane etc.) So do not do a day trip by air, it is not worth it. If you are going to day trip it with Eurostar, you will not see much. In high season, waits can be up to 2 hours for some of the most popular things. I don't think it will paint the best image. Also meals in Europe are far more drawn out and sedate and service is slower here. I really would recommend you try to get more time for DLP. You can do a highlights of DLP in a day, but starting at park opening till close is the only way really. The resort itself is really at least a 3 day experience or more, could be highlighted in 2). Also London has loads to see, and you will be jetlagging like mad. Ca to Europe is an exhausting transition. Europe is not like the US. It has far more to see and takes longer. |

![]() | Re: Disneyland Paris in January 2010 What Dave said. If you're really going to do this in one day, the only sane option is indeed the Eurostar. High-speed trains in Europe are by far the best choice for those one-hour-flight distances, and in this case, they present an alternative to the industrialized world's two worst airports (Heathrow and Charles-de-Gaulle.) But I wouldn't recommend it either. |

![]() | Re: Disneyland Paris in January 2010 i have decided to postpone my trip till May/June 2010. The Contiki Tour that want to take ends in France which is better because that gives me more time at DLP/WDS then the next day i can make my way back to London. any suggestions during the summer. sorry about the month changing but i am postponing the trip to this time because i will have extra money to do visits before and after my tour. I will now stay a full 3 days in London and after the tour 2 days
