I got an email confirmation for a wristband for the Feb. Piece of History Nemo Subs pin.

In all likelihood, I won't even need it seeing as how last month's POH is still available.

Wow. Even thought it was the third train pin, I am a little surprised that it is still available almost one month later. Have fun with the Nemo pin. It is very cute.

I ordered some Vancouver Winter Olympic mascot pins so those should be arriving soon.

Who says there are only Disney pins?

Yes, but they have not been revealed yet. Keep watching the official disney pin site.

Pete Docter had a Grape Soda pin on when accepting his Best Animated Film Oscar last night. It sure looked like the Costco version though I could be wrong about that.

Given how many pieces of him that were lying around, not really. They said they were doing DCA this year. I wonder when the ORange Stinger is coming. The Dino Jack may not be so bad. Think of it this way. There will always be a Haunted Mansion to pull pieces from. Dino Jack is gone forever. Granted he is not as loved as other things.

Just an icon that no one will remember or care about, if they haven't stopped caring already. He's not part of an attraction, and he's not really memorable at all. If it were an attraction like Orange Stinger I could understand more, but not for a shop.

I want the Dino Jack POH pin! If the DLR and Nemo POH pins were easy to get, this one will be super easy and probably available for months on end.

Well I would not say that. He will be remembered. Many years from now people will look at pictures of him and ask what happened to him. Just like they do with things from Disneyland that are no longer there, like the Wizard of Bras, Casa De Fritos or the Pirates Arcade Museum. Doesn't matter what it is, someone will remember it fondly, and this is especially true of Disneyland and DCA. Still I think the main reason they made him is because of the easy access to "pieces". And they have done The Emporium already, so a PoH of a shop is not unheard of.

The Emporium is an icon with 50+ years of history. Sunglass Jack is a footnote in DCA's history that might be remembered, but not fondly like the others you mentioned. How many people actually shopped there. It's not even the signature store in DCA like the Emporium is for DL.

The reason why I'm sure is for the pieces, and if it's still there in May, I even might get one. Just not exactly an ideal choice for DCA, especially if it's something they destroyed to "fix" DCA.

    Just my .02.
