    Steampunk Disney Pins

The Mechanical Kingdom Disney Parks Blog

This collection contains five limited edition pins that will be sold individually. There is also a journal written by Professor Ludwig Von Drake that introduces the Mechanical Kingdom story. The journal literally looks like a book complete with a cover and several pages. The final page contains all five individual pins and two “completer pins” – Mickey Mouse and Pirate Pete.

Look for “The Mechanical Kingdom” pin set to be released in April 2010 at Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort.

the book looks cool. Pins aren't really my thing...but, they are a great concept and the pins themselves are nice looking.

Yeah, I'm just looking at the Ludwig one, since it's the only one that really interested me.

Cool concept though, and it looks like we're getting a Vinylmation series as well.

Interesting, but they don;t exactly fit the theme of each land.
    Good morning, son
    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

They really ought to do more with this idea then just merchandising. A comic series based around this would be fantastic.
