MOre pins today. I got my shipment from the Disneystore.com pin sale last week.

    Jessica St Patricks Day

    Some Tinks.

    Donald Hawaiian Holiday series.

The last 6 are from a LE125 set Princess Gold Brocade. Some are better than others. Here they are in order of least liked to favorite.

Re: Recent Pin Acquisition(s) Thread II -- Pin Harder

I just got a whole bunch of pins over the past week that I haven't photographed yet. But here are a couple that I have taken photos of.

I finally saved up enough Disney Movie reward points to get these. They are great!

And this one I got last month in Paris. It is currently my favorite pin

I collect a variety of pins, but my main focus is on Snow White.

Re: Recent Pin Acquisition(s) Thread II -- Pin Harder

Just got a few new pins from the DS.com pin sale, and I noticed a VERY ugly, very long number stamped across the back of each (kind of like some weird watermark)! Anybody else have this on their DS-exclusive pins? Sure, it washes off pretty easily with rubbing alcohol, but kind of not the point, y'know!

Also noticed that the pinbacks are smaller, and more plastic-feeling than rubbery like they used to be. Is this the new norm for pinbacks?

yup ours have that too. TY for the cleaning tip!!

It is just like them putting their huge ugly sticker on everything. Annoying.
    Good morning, son
    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

Since the numbers are on the back of the pin, I would consider leaving them. People might be looking for the numbers if you ever went to trade the pin. They might not trust the pin to be authentic without them.

Very good point, but this number is stamped across the 'edition of 250' brand. And not all of the pins I ordered had this stamp. Just seemed very random and odd.

It is. There is a discussion about it over on dizpins. No concensus has been made yet as to why that the stamps are there.

Re: Recent Pin Acquisition(s) Thread II -- Pin Harder

Just got this set in the mail the other day

It's an older one but I've wanted it for a while and finally caved (cause I'm a little obsessed with Buzz & Jessie and they're so darn cute here) and now I'm hunting cute Toy Story pins... which will only end badly for my wallet :P

Friend got me these while at the Walt Disney Family Museum:

I like it even if it does make Walt look kind of KFCish.

    More for me.

First a couple of those purchase with purchase pins. They were $1 each and much better than the 10 anniversary of pin trading pins from earlier in the year.

Then Brand42 helped me out with this Jessica.

Surprise. I got another pin in the mail today all the way from Scotland. He must have been on a secret mission there to stop Dr Doofenshmirtz.

    It's Perry the Playtpus.
